USING THE GEAR AND APPS

Filmmaker Pro is a free app that has manual controls for focus,  exposure and white balance.

These manual controls are not found in the native camera app.

iMovie is still the best video editing app on the iPhone by far.

Other video apps have more features but, takes a long time process every command.

The mini Gorillapod may be a little too short at times, but that’s not a problem in the kitchen as there are pots and containers to prop up its height.

The real secret is in the LED light. Without this, the video will look like any other home-made videos.

The lamp is slim and cordless, so it can fit almost anywhere.

CAN BE BETTER

This video is not perfect.

The frying scenes is a little darker than the rest.

I can always do color correction with another but, but that will defeat my goal of producing and publishing a professional looking video on-the-go.

I will sort that out in the next cooking video.

In the meantime, subscribe to stay tuned.
