A new version of YoloBox Pro is available now.
What’s new in software v1.5.3:
• Reusing project setting: you can now replicate the live stream and reuse it without any hassle.
(Please note, previously loaded and customized graphic overlays will be cleared after the update.)
• Animated GIF overlay support
• Superchat overlay support
• You can delete your live stream events in batches
• You can now delete the scoreboard team logo
• You can now manually enter the desired bitrate with the new minimum bitrate at 1,000k bps

Where can I get animated GIFs?

- Find an animated GIF you like, and click on the “thumbnail” to open it.

That’s just about two weeks after adding features for encoding modes, manual bitrate control, chroma key, scoreboard & overlay customization.
Support 2 Videos from SD Card: With support for adding 2 Videos from SD Card, we can now add a total of 3 sources (2 videos & 1 PDF) from the SD card, and a total of 8 video sources (3 HDMI + 1 USB-A + 1 USB-C + 2 SD Card Videos + 1 PDF).
Scoreboard Countdown Timer: We can easily create a timer or reset it whenever we want with just one tap. The longest time period supported is 100 minutes.
No Character Limits for Rolling captions: In this update, Yololiv also removed the limit of how many characters can be displayed when adding rolling captions. Even if you live stream a music festival with all lyrics displayed, there won’t be a problem.

My Review
I have done many reviews on the original Yolobox.
In my reviews, I wished for the following…
- More HDMI inputs
- Audio mixing and
- Integrated comments
It looks like the Yolobox Pro is the answer to my wishes, though…
I wished the size would remain the same or be smaller, for that true portability.
First Impressions
The audio monitoring port is moved to the top. That means all cables will be jutting out only from the top. The bottom will be clutter-free.
The battery power of my unit came 100% fully charged right out of the box.
The touch screen is more responsive. So happy to type on it. The original Yolobox require me to press a little harder.
After signing in with my ID and password that I registered with the original Yolobox, I was taken to a screen with my last streams. It doesn’t mean anything at all. I can’t tap into a past stream to watch anyway. Also, my streaming platforms are ready to be connected without having to reenter the user ID and password.
The audio recording is stereo. Is it? It is stereo from the audio monitoring output port. That’s when connected to the iPhone 12 Pro Max HDMI output with filmic Pro.
Once I add the third camera ot rather HDMI input, yolobox pro begins to become very hot… And cranky… The display starts flickering.
i wish I can show more than 2 sources on the screen. At least 4 sources on the screen will be great… And each source should be resizable… Just like OBS.
