Modifying Feiyutech AK4000 Follow Focus to Zoom Panasonic FZ2500

Are you wondering how to control the zoom when your Panasonic FZ2500 is on the Feiyutech AK4000 gimbal?

In this video, I am going to show you how I modify the Feiyu AKFII Follow Focus Kit to a Zoom Control.

The Feiyutech AKFII

In the previous video, I showed you how I set up my Panasonic Lumix FZ2500 on the Feiyu AK4000 gimbal to shoot a birthday party.

Everything was fine, except that I cannot control the zoom.

The AK4000 comes with the AKFII Follow Focus Kit.

The AKFII is meant for manually controlling the focus.

When shooting events, I like to set my focus to Single Area Autofocus.

So instead of using the Follow Focus Kit to focus, let’s set it up it to zoom.
