My Halloween YouTube shorts got over 12,000 views in less than 1 hour including 45 news subscribers.
Here’s what didn’t happen.
- I didn’t intend to make a halloween video. I just posted my regular YouTube Shorts video reposted from Tiktok.
- I didnt give a title based on the content but instead greeted Happy Halloween followed by emojies 🎃 🤪 👻.
- I didn’t turn on monetization, otherwise I could have made some quick change for Starbucks coffee.
I know I posted it at the right time on the peak visitor hour, 9pm, just before Halloween.
I also know that YouTube is heavily promoting YouTube Shorts right now in 2022.
I will keep posting Shorts every day before the window of opportunity (to get more subscribers) closes.
