How to Put Yourself Inside a Movie Poster Using CapCut

Have you ever wondered how to make yourself part of a movie poster? In this post, I will show you how I did it using CapCut, a free video editing app for mobile devices. You can use this technique to create fun and creative videos for your social media or personal projects.

The first thing you need is a video of yourself pretending to be inside the poster. You can use any background, as long as it is not too cluttered. You also need an image of the movie poster that you want to use. You can download it from the internet or take a photo of it.

Next, open CapCut and start a new project. Go to Photos, select the poster image, and tap on Add. This will be the base layer of your video.

From the main menu, choose Overlay and Add Overlay. Select the video of yourself and tap on Add. This will be the top layer of your video.

Now, you need to remove the background from your video layer. While the overlay clip is selected, choose the Cut Out tool. Select Remove Background. This will automatically erase the background and leave only you.

Next, you need to reposition and resize your video layer to match the poster. You can use pinch gestures to zoom in and out, and drag gestures to move around. Try to align your body and face with the poster characters as much as possible.

Next, you need to cut out the poster characters that are in front of you. To do this, select the poster clip in the timeline. Choose Copy. Choose Overlay. This will create a copy of the poster image as an overlay clip. Drag the overlay copy under the original poster clip in the timeline.

Now, select the overlay copy clip. Choose the Cut Out tool. Select Customized Cut Out. Select Brush. This will allow you to paint over the parts of the poster that you want to cut out. Paint over the characters that are in front of you.

You can preview your video by tapping on Play. You should see yourself inside the movie poster, with some parts of the poster characters showing in front of you.

You can add some finishing touches to your video, such as adding music, text, stickers, filters, etc. When you are happy with your video, tap on Export and save it to your device or share it online.
