5 Replies to “1-day Video Making Course – Using ONLY Smartphones [in SINGAPORE]”

  1. Q: What is the maximum class size?

A: The classroom can take up to 20 pax, though I am expecting about 5 to 10 pax signing up.

    Q: Is there group discount?

A: Yes there is group discount. Check out the rates here… http://www.videolane.com/courses/smartphone-video/

Q: What if we have a huge group?

A: If you have a huge group of more than 10 pax, we can arrange a customised class at an even better special rate. Let me know if you need more info on this customised class.

Q: Is there a class before 25 August?

A: There is no class before 25 August. There might be one in the month after though the date is not confirmed.

  2. Q: Adrian. How much of a difference is this compare to your 2 day class?

A: The main difference is this…

    – The 1-day course uses smartphone cameras with everything else mobile and portable, including video editing totally done on mobile.

    – The 2-day course uses regular video cameras or DSLRs and regular accessories, with video editing done on a computer with Adobe.

    – If you are looking to video everyday fast, shooting products , services and environment for business, then smartphone is good.

    – If you are looking to filming talks, conferences, seminars, stage events, then you need a regular video camera.

    – Want to video interviews? Both can do.

Smartphones are powerful enough to produce good videos as you saw from my example.

    Feel free to clarify further.

  3. Question:

I already know how to shoot video with my phone. What does your course offer?

    Answer:

    – In the course, I will show you how to make your video look professional. Something people will like and share with their friends. Something that will make your product look good and interesting.

    – I will be showing you how to use VivaVideo. Many people use it the wrong way, hence producing cheesy looking movies. My job is to show you step by step how to shoot and edit a video the professional way.

    – The method taught will be great for marketing products and services. Hence this is for business owners and organisations. It is held on a weekday, so that companies can send their staff here on course.
